Superstar Rajinikanth has tweeted after a very long time and it to make a major announcement on his upcoming film 'Petta'. He has stated "It’s a wrap for 'Petta'. 15 days ahead of schedule. I thank Sun Pictures, Karthik Subbaraj, Director of Photography Thirru and the entire team Involved. Here’s Wishing everyone a very happy Vijaydashami.

'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj has the top notch ensemble cast of Rajinikanth, Trisha, Simran, Nawazuddin Siddique, Sasikumar, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Megha Akash and Vijay Sethupathi. Anirudh is scoring the music for his uncle Rajini for the first time in his career.
