Director Kannan who had last delivered the action packed flick Ivan Thanthiran starring Gautham Karthik, Shraddha Srinath and RJ Balaji in 2016, is hitting screens after a break with his social thriller Boomerang which is releasing worldwide tomorrow.

The movie stars Atharvaa Murali, Megha Akash, RJ Balaji and Indhuja in lead roles, and the trailers and the interesting promos have generated enough curiosity among youngsters, and is set to have a good opening at the box office.

Ahead of the movie's release, director Kannan, who has also produced the movie in his Masala Pix met Superstar Rajnikanth and sought his blessings. Incidentally, the movie's theme revolves around interlinking of rivers which Superstar Rajnikanth had always emphasized on.
