Rana Daggubati went through intensive martial arts training for six months for his film 'Baahubali'. The dedicated actor also trained using a combination of mixed martial arts and weapon training, for which he devoted 8 hours daily.

Talking about the experience Rana said,"Weapon training is always extremely fun. I have done a bit of it before. But this time it was more focused on the film so it had to be all the more precise. Along with the sword, I also trained with the mace and a chain mace which adapt a completely different technique. It is very important for the film especially when you're doing a period drama. It's crucial to be able to use the weapons of that time with ease."

'Baahubali' is a war film with a lot of action sequences and we are sure his efforts will not go to vain.
