At the recent Filmfare awards in Gujarat, Ranbir Kapoor unleashed his 'Animal' persona on filmmaker Karan Johar, who was hosting the event alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. In a widely circulated video, Ranbir, seated in the front row, is seen apparently shouting at Karan, echoing his famous dialogue from 'Animal'.

In the clip, Karan is seen asking Ranbir for help, saying, "Ranbir hi kar sakta hai, Ranbir hi karega, Ranbir ko hi karna chahiye, Ranbir must help us (Only Ranbir can do it. Only Ranbir will do. Only Ranbir must do it. Ranbir must help us)." Eventually, an irritated Ranbir cuts him off and says, "Sunayi de raha hai, behra nahi hoon main (I can listen, I am not deaf)."

Ranbir's reaction leaves Karan and Ayushmann stunned. Although the 'Animal' actor appeared angry, it seemed it was all part of an act.

For the unversed, Ranbir played the character of Ranvijay in his latest film 'Animal'. Revolving around the complex relationship between a father and a son, the film was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It also featured Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in key roles.

Ranbir won the award for Best Actor for the film. After he received the award, Ranbir remembered his late father Rishi Kapoor during his acceptance speech. He said, "I’d like to dedicate this award to Mr Rishi Kapoor – Papa Meri Jaan. Every day I think of you, I remember you. And everything I feel for you, the love, the affection, I try to channelize through this part and I hope you are up there in peace and resting."

Meanwhile, Ranbir will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love and War'. The film will also feature Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in key roles. It will be released during Christmas, 2025.
