RDB directed by Rakeysh O. Mehra and produced by him with UTV has tried enough but failed to keep itself away from crisis. Hey, the crisis is nothing but the controversies that have stirred the bollywood circuit for long now. Before the film's release it was more about signing NOCs from the Ministry of Defence, Indian Air Force and Animal Welfare Board of India.

Post the release there are controversies but not like these. The controversies that are surrounding the film are about the writers Kamlesh Pandey, Rensil D' Silva and Prasoon Joshi for writing credits.

If this was not enough, there was another controversy of Kavita Gadgil blaming Mehra for not giving her due credits in the film for the information she provided.

Rakeysh feels that everyone can't be satisfied and that his film gave due credits to all the pilots who lost their lives in MIG crashes and their families for all the information they provided.

Another controversy is that the critics are not happy with the youth in the film taking to killing the minister. But this does not seem to affect the film maker. He is quite happy with the audience response to his film.

The film is going to be aired in a charity show for the widows and families of pilots who lost lives in the MIG crashes. Recently, pirated CD's of the film worth Rs. 1 Crore were seized on the domestic airport. The police are trying hard to find the source but no successes so far. Who says success comes without a price tag?
