Samantha Akkineni has said that 'Rangasthalam' is an absolutely honest film. Referring to the film's ambience, she adds, "There is such beauty in simplicity! Very little is needed to make a happy life. I so enjoy being a part of this absolutely honest film."
Director Sukumar is ensuring that the film is an authentic period drama set in the 1980s. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the period drama has Aadhi Pinishetty, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj in key roles. Anasuya is a part of the cast. Pooja Hegde is doing a special song. Music-directed by Devi Sri Prasad, it has cinematography by Rathnavelu.
There is no clarity as to when the much-awaited film will hit the screens.
