'Rangula Raatnam' is this season's underdog. Just like 'Shatamanam Bhavati' was last year, and 'Express Raja' was before that.

Starring Raj Tarun, Chitra Shukla, Sitara and Priyadarshan in key roles, the rom-com and family entertainer dares to release on a Sunday (January 14) during a very power-packed season. 'Agnyaathavaasi', 'Jai Simha' and 'Gang' will be there in the race.

Amidst this, Annapurna Studios is confident that its product will scintillate. Directed by Sree Ranjani, it has been produced by Supriya. For those family audiences who would like to watch an obviously-there family entertainer, 'RR' could entertain and scintillate at the box office.
