On August 19, Akshay Kumar starrer 'Bell Bottom' got released in the Indian theaters after almost a year of the film's wrap-up. Vaani Kapoor, Directed by Ranjit M Tiwari, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi have starred alongside the actor in Bell Bottom. The actor-director duo is reuniting in their next project too.

Ahead of the theatrical release of Bell Bottom, Akshay Kumar and director Ranjit M Tewari are currently in the UK to kick off the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Ratsasan'. Tentatively titled 'Mission Cindrella', the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh as the leading lady. Last month, we already broke to you that Akshay Kumar will reportedly star in the project.

Ratsasan(2018) is a psychological crime thriller starring Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul, while Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan and Mundasupatti Ramdoss play supporting roles. Director Ramkumar, who previously directed laugh riot 'Mundasupatti', made this eerie thriller in his second directorial venture. Ghibran has composed an astounding soundtrack and background score in this movie.

The maker was highly appreciated for the versatility in the making of his two films. The film did wonders at the box office and won high critical acclaim as well. And it managed to bag a handful of awards too. Previously, Ratsasan was remade in Telugu as 'Rakshasudu' starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran. Ghibran took care of the music in the Telugu remake too.

The latest news is that the film went on the floors today in London. 'Mission Cindrella' is produced by Vashu Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment. The shoot of this arresting thriller begins with an action sequence. The action crew of the actor-director combo's previous film 'Bell Bottom' has been retained in Mission Cindrella too. The superstar has nine confirmed projects: eight films and one web series in different stages of production. These are Bell Bottom, Sooryavanshi, Atrangi Re, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Rakshabandhan, Ram Setum, OMG - Oh My God 2 and the web series The End.
