Superstar Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya and Apex Laboratories director Vishagan Vanangamudi got married yesterday in the Leela Palace hotel in a grand affair that witnessed the presence of who's who of the film industry including Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan, and top politicians like Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy and MK Stalin.

Following the wedding, a grand post wedding reception was held and this event also saw a huge turnout of celebrities and industrialists who came to wish and bless the newly-wed. The highlight of the reception was the presence of the top industrialist Mukesh Ambani of Reliance group and his wife Nita Ambani, who came all the way from Mumbai to bless the couple.

It must be noted that a month back, Rajnikanth along with his wife Latha had attended the wedding reception of his daughter Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal. Besides, actress Kajol, who had starred as the antagonist in Soundarya's last directorial venture Velaiyilla Pattadhari 2 had also graced the occasion. There was finally a glimpse of Dhanush, as the actor had mostly avoided getting photographed as he was in his Asuran look.
