Saif Ali Khan withdraws his statement about humanizing Raavan in 'Adipurush'.

Saif Ali Khan has been casted as main antagonist Lankesh against Prabhas's Ram and Kriti Sanon's Sita. In a recent interview with Mirror, Saif talked about his character and said that makers are going to humanize Raavan and make Sita's abduction justifiable. Apparently this statement didn't go well with religious people and Saif got criticised.

He has now apologized and taken back his statement. “This was never my intention or meant that way. I would like to sincerely apologise to everybody and withdraw my statement.” He said and went on to describe that 'Adipurush' will symbolize victory if good over evil. Saif previously played antagonist in Om Raut's 'Tanhaji'.

Adipurish film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
