Salman Khan got Sooraj Barjatya and Himesh Reshammiya together for the soundtrack of 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. Interestingly, the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor was sure that the two would bond on their similar style of working.

Shared a Spokesperson, "Sooraj was very particular about the kind of music he wanted for the film. The prerequisite was to find a composer who has the patience to create an elaborate album like PRDP. His and Himesh's sensibilities matched as they both like to take time on each song and work on its detailing. Sooraj's only brief to Himesh was to avoid any kind of electronic music. He wanted old-world music and hummable songs."

Sooraj Barjatiya was so particilar about the music of the film that, he would be present not only for the sittings, but also for the final recordings of even the chorus singers. The Spokesperson further added, "Sooraj was clear about how the title song should be. He wanted the chorus singers' rendition to be in sync with the expressions of junior artistes. So, he attended even those recording sessions at Himesh's studio."

Sooraj Sir and Himesh's work has already garnered a lot of appreciation and the music Has been loved by everyone.
