While the likes of Pranitha Shubhash and Rakul Preet Singh are expanding into businesses like pubs and gyms, Samantha has chosen to become a producer, an experimental one at that. The news is that Samantha is set to producer a remake of the Kannada mystery thriller U-Turn into Telugu and Tamil.
This female-centric film had Shraddha Srinath playing the lead. The Telugu-Tamil version won't have Samantha playing the lead for sure, but it's not known as to who will do it. Directed by Pawan Kumar of Lucia fame, the film was made on a shoe-string budget which was mopped up through crowd-funding.
Most probably, Samantha will be a co-producer of this venture. An announcement will be made in the near future.
