Iconic tennis player Serena Williams has taken up the cause of promoting Breast Cancer awareness. She has recorded a version of The Divinyls' 'I Touch Myself' to "remind women to self-check regularly".
Unveiling the creative and well-meaning video on Instagram, Serena said, "Yes, this put me out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do it because it’s an issue that affects all women of all colors, all around the world. Early detection is key - it saves so many lives. I just hope this helps to remind women of that."
Such messages can go a long way in promoting awareness. Serena's endeavour has received appreciation from her fans as well as others across many countries.
