Nikesha Patel of 'Komaram Puli' fame has called out the culture of casting couch and sexual abuse in Telugu film industry.
In a bold interview, she has said that Tollywood has the problem as much as it's there in Hollywood. Sometimes, women too are at the forefront of asking struggling actresses to compromise for offers at the behest of men, she suggests.
But haven't we heard a few actresses say that Tollywood is a nice place? Nikesha says that "only established" names don't face abuse!
Earlier this year, Kannada actress Sruthi Hariharan of 'Lucia' fame had said that the Telugu film industry scares her because of what she has heard about the casting couch prevalent in the industry.
