Here are some of his best performance in negative role.

Baazigar - This crime thriller, directed by Abbas Mustan, has been Shah Rukh Khan`s breakthrough role as a villain. SRK's amazing performance in this won him high acclaims - including the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in 1993.

Darr - This Yash Raj Films' product not only made good money but also made actors into stars. SRK is known to do his best in any role and that`s what he did in this. This romantic thriller movie turned a milestone on SRK's career, for playing the anti hero in this one. It fetched him Filmfare nomination as Best Villain.

Ram Jaane - This was the fourth movie that SRK did as a baddie and it was with utmost skill and hard work put in. This was an action crime movie that was directed by Rajiv Mehra. It initially did not do well at the box office but SRK`s role was very much appreciated in the industry.

Duplicate - This 1998 Mahesh Bhatt's directorial did poorly at box office. However, it is remembered for its melodious and especially, SRK in dual role - as that of a good boy and bad.

Don Series - Farhan Akhtar's 2006 production was a remake of the 1978 film of a simple man pretending to be a Don. Khan`s negative character was highly praised of, because he carried the style and personality of a don extremely well. This movie initially didn`t do well at the box office but then earned more than Rs 105 crore. This was followed by its second instalment, 'Don 2' in 2011. The movie received a number of awards and best action too.

Raees - Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment Presents SRK in and as 'Raees'. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film is slated for Eid 2016. In this crime drama, the super star is touted to be playing a dark character; as that of a gangster.
