Happy to celebrate her birthday on Monday was Shalini Ajith.

A child artiste, who made a mark for herself acting in over 50 films in various languages, Shalini had acted as heroine in a few movies including Ajith's Amarkalam.

Following her wedding with Ajith, she chose to bid bye to acting and started concentrating on badminton.

Today she is actively involved in the sport and has been taking part in various tourneys.

A source of inspiration for Ajith, Shalini is optimistic that she would make a name for him in the sports field soon.
