Kannada TV show host Chandan and his close friend Santhoshi died recently when their car met with an accident after it lost control and rammed into a lorry.  Ever since, his wife Meena has been inconsolable.  She has been quite depressed after the untimely and unfortunate passing away of her husband.

Unable to bear the loss, she has slit the throat of her son Tushar and consumed poison with the intention of killing herself.  

When the relatives of Meena entered her residence in Bengaluru, they found Tushar dead and Meena severely bleeding.  They rushed her to the NIMHANS hospital,  where her condition is said to be highly critical.  Chandan was an ardent fan of late superstar Rajkumar and had also acted in a few films
