The month long first schedule of Thala 56` concluded a couple of days back and director Siruthai Siva shot scenes involving Ajith and Lakshmi Menon who play a closely bonded brother and sister in the film.

Rumors doing the rounds suggested that Ajith is playing the role of a taxi driver in the film, but now a surprising bit of information coming from the team leads us to believe that it is actually heroine Shruti Haasan who is playing a taxi driver. If that is the case, then this will be the first time a Tamil heroine is doing such a role. While this is interesting, more curiosity builds up now as to what character Ajith plays in Thala 56`. We have to wait and watch as the team will be moving to Kolkata for the second schedule when we will surely have more info on that.
