Vidya Balan who was recently bestowed with an honorary doctorate , was in for a pleasant surprise when husband , producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, paid her a surprise visit at a popular studio in the suburbs ,where she was giving promotional interviews for her upcoming film Humari Adhuri Kahani. Kapur who was at the studio visiting the sets of Fitoor, decided to pop by Vidya's set and surprise her over lunch, given that the actress has a busy week ahead and will be traveling for her film's promotional tours.

Says a studio source , " Siddharth decided to surprise Vidya for lunch while she was at the studio promoting the film since she has been busy shooting for various television channel interviews n integrations and will be travelling for the next few days for the film's promotional tours given that the release of the film is just around the corner. Siddharth was also present for Vidya's convocation ceremony where he constantly rooted for her from the front row".
