Last week’s ‘rainy’ releases Siddharth’s horror flick ‘Aval’ and Vidharth’s ‘Vizhithiru’ opened to a positive reception from fans. The films have reaped in considerable profits in the box office for the first week despite the relentless rains in the city.

‘Aval’ : Horror thriller ‘Aval’ featuring Siddharth and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead roles was screened at 15 theatres with 171 shows.  With a crowd presence of 85% in theatres the film has accumulated about Rs. 57,44,788 in the box office.

‘Vizhithiru’: ‘Vizhithiru’ which has actors Vidharth and Dhansika essaying the lead roles was screened in 11 theatres with 93 shows. The film which saw about 70% crowd presence in theatres has collected Rs.14,28,753 in the box office until now.
