Vikram Prabhu is high on a hat-trick of success and joined hands with Gaurav, who directed 'Thoonga Nagaram'. This movie marks Vikram Prabhu's second outing with 'UTV Motion Pictures' and D. Imman has composed the music for this film. Here's our detailed review.

Pidikkudhe - Shreya Ghoshal, Jithin Raj

Shreya Ghoshal & Imman have delivered some mesmerizing numbers in the past, and this one is no exception. Shreya's rendering needs no introduction and she gave her best once again to deliver a delightful number. Jithin Raj has complemented Shreya and did his part to perfection. The Yugabharathi's lyrics take the tune to a different level altogether. When Shreya renders 'Anbe un kaigal theenda.. Hormone-gal moongilaaga'.. You're sure to melt!

Takku Takku - Varum Parandhaman, Anthony Dasan

From a gorgeous melody, Imman delivers a joyful foot tapping number. It is Anthony Dassan, who is on a roll has nailed it again. The tune is amalgamated with Madhan Karky's funny lyrics which describes what a youngster actually going through  nowadays and what he dreams to do achieve. Though the tune is a functional one, the lyrics and neat rendering from lead singers make this a listenable one.

Anbulla Appa - Yesudas

Finally, a wonderful song to praise the selfless nature of a Father, this is absolutely rare in comparison to hundreds of songs which praise the mother's sacrifice and glorifies her. Imman's soulful composition with Yesudas's evergreen vocals will be remembered for years to come. Yugabharathi's lyrics, add great values in verses like, Dhoosi enai thodavaum vida maatai.. Tholil enai sumandhe nadai pottai'. A song for all the dad's to be proud of.

Scenu Scenu - Aranarai Natraj, Tha Prophecy

The album heads to a neither or nor number and passes muster. Gaana Bala's lyrics describe the show off of girls of the current generation. If the visuals are good enough to draw the attention, then this song might end up getting played for a while in music channels.

Sigaram Thodu - Benny Dayal, Santosh Hariharan, Snigdha Chandra

The title track to round off the album sung by bankable Benny Dayal. Albeit, the song tries to tickle you energy zones, it never achieves its purpose. The tune is functional and the lyrics from Madhan Karky also fall short while in an attempt to be inspirational. The track might finds a place to be a part of BGM in the movie.

Verdict - A mixed bag from D. Imman, led by Shreya Ghoshal's supreme rendition.

Pick(s) of the album - Pidikkudhe, Anubulla Appa
