Actor Simbu, after his movies like Eeswaran and Maanaadu is set to begin shooting for his next movie Pathu Thala, the official remake of the 2017 Kannada hit movie Mufti directed by Narthan.

Pathu Thala is produced by Studio Green and is directed by Sillunu Oru Kadhal, Nedunchalai fame director Krishna and the movie also stars Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar as leads.

Now the latest official update is that actor Teejay who was seen in the last year superhit Asuran directed by Vetrimaaran, playing Dhanush's son, will be seen in an important role in Pathu Thala. Teejay was last seen in the Diwali release Thatrom Thookrom.
