S.P. Balasubramaniam 's mother passes away

Legendary singer S.P. Balasumbramaniam's mother Shankunthalamma passed away at her residence in Nellore this morning. The 89-year-old had been suffering from age-related illness for the past few days and daughter singer S.P. Shailaja has stated It's a great loss to us. Nobody can replace a mother's place. My brother is currently in London. He has left the place for India. He is expected to land in Nellore later today.
SPB has canceled his concert and is rushing back home. Several film industry personalities from the Telugu and Tamil industries are paying their respects to Shakunthalamma.
