Dhanush's maiden Telugu movie is titled 'SIR'. The Tamil version is titled 'Vaathi'. On Wednesday, the first look of the movie, which will hit the screens in October, was released by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

Producers S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya have said that the film is in the final stages of production. Touted to be an ambitious and heartwarming journey of a common man, the film's teaser will be released on Thursday (July 28) at 6 pm.

In the first look poster, we see Dhanush writing down something in a library. The story of the film takes place in the backdrop of a college.

Venky Atluri of 'Tholi Prema' and 'Rang De' fame is the captain of the ship. Today, he said that Dhanush's cooperation has been great. "We are going to release 'SIR' simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil," he added.

Co-starring Malayalam star Samyuktha Menon, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Sreenu, Pammi Sai, Hyper Adhi and others, the film has music by GV Prakash Kumar. Production Design is by Avinash Kolla.
