The press meets for the upcoming movie 'Mr. Local' starring Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara happened in Chennai last evening in which the hero along with director M.Rajesh, music director Hip Hop Thamizha Aadhi and Robo Shankar among others participated.

Robo Shankar in his speech praised Sivakarthikeyan for being the same from the time they met as KPY contestants to the present when he is one of the top most stars.  The comedian, however, got carried away and criticized the press people for not clapping to his speech and said that in many shows he had walked out as the critics' reactions were too sober.  Journalists hit back at Robo Shankar in the event itself and he tried to defuse the situation by saying he is just a baby and did not mean any harm.

Sivakarthikeyan in his speech explained to Robo Shankar that the press people are not fans and they wont clap for his jokes.  He also pointed out to him that every single day the journos went through many number of movie events and previews and would be too tired to humour them.  Siva also jovially warned Robo to stop calling himself a baby.

'Mr. Local' directed by M.Rajesh and produced by Studio Green has Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara as the lead pair supported by Radhika Sarathkumar, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu and Sathish.  The movie hits the screens world wide on May 17th.
