As reported by us earlier, the First look posters of actor Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikkaran' will be released on May 1, 2017.

The makers have just confirmed the First look release date through an official press statement. '"Scheduled for release on August 25 for the festive occasion of Vinayaga Chathurthi, the first look of this film will be unveiled on May 1st, 2017 marking the Labour Day`" the statement read.

Velaikkaran' is a social-commercial entertainer comprising of a power house performers like Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, Prakash Raj, Sneha, Rohini, RJ Balaji, Satish and Robo Shankar. The film`s technical crew is yet more promising to see Anirudh (Music), Ramji (Cinematography) and Vivek Harshan (Editing).
