Many Kollywood stars have been involving themselves in various forms of relief works to bring back normalcy in the Chennai city affected by torrential rains. There is also a huge list of stars and actors who have voluntarily donated huge funds for the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund to support the rain rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations of the Tamil Nadu State Government. All these donations have been handed over to Nadigar Sangam and the Sangam will deposit the consolidated donation to the CM's fund.

The latest to join the list of money contributors from Kollywood is actress Sridivya. The 'Eetti' actress has handed over her share of Rs.10 lakh to the Nadigar Sangam to support the rain relief measures of the Government.

Sridivya debuted in Tamil as a heroine with the blockbuster flick 'Varuthapadadha Valibar Sangam'. Only four films in which she has acted have hit the screens and the other three in the list are 'Jeeva', 'Vellaikaradurai' and 'Kakki Sattai'. 'Eetti' will be hitting the screens this Friday.

A barely five film old actors donating this big an amount for a public cause is absolutely phenomenal and praiseworthy.

Superstar Rajinknath (Rs.10 lakhs), Dhanush (Rs.5 Lakhs), Suriya, Karthi and Sivakumar (Rs.25 Lakhs). A.R.Rahman (Rs.25 Lakhs), A.R.Murugadoss (Rs.10 Lakhs), Lal (Rs.1 Lakh) are the other Kollywood celebrities who have donated money for the Chennai rain and flood relief measures carried out by the Government.
