He is the real chocolate box hero in Tamil. Srikanth is the real tall, dark and handsome actor in Kollywood these days.

So he is naturally back to doing love stories after none-too pleasant feelings doing action films.

In Kana Kandein, directed by cinematographer turned director K V Anand, Srikanth plays a typical lover boy.

This out and out and romantic movie, slated for release early April, has a dramatic twist in the tale.

A grand factory set has been erected at the sea-shore in Uthandi where a major portion of the movie involving Srikanth, Gopika and Malayalam actor Prithviraj is being shot.

Speaking about the movie Srikanth says, "it's a romantic thriller that is sure to click with my fans. All credit should go to K V Anand for coming up with a bold theme and due credit should be given to Thenappan for coming forward to produce such a movie.

Srikanth is also effusive in his praise of his co-stars. "Every actor involved in the movie has given his or her best and I hope Kana Kandein will be a blockbuster for this year".

Srikanth who celebrated his birthday Monday at the sets of the Kana Kandein was in all joy as his long-pending movie Sathurangam has also finally cleared all hurdles and ready for release on April 14.

Meanwhile K V Anand says, "I am all the more cautious to give my best in the movie and stand up to the faith reposed on me by the producer and the entire unit".
