Speaking at the success meet of Nannaku Prematho, NTR said that Sukumar gave him a film that he will remember for his entire life.

"When the film was being made, Srinivas Avasarala predicted that although he couldn't tell how big a success the film will be, he could say it will earn huge respect. His prediction has become a reality," he said.

"We made the film not with commerce in mind, but with passion. I thank BVSN Prasad for producing this film. Devi Sri put life into our efforts. I'm small when compared to Jagapathi Babu garu, Rajendra Prasad garu, Prasad garu, and Sukumar garu," he said, adding that Rajeev Kanakala was a versatile actor.
