Venkat Prabhu's Chennai – 600028 has won a rare distinction in Tamil cinema. Sons and daughters of over half-a-dozen yesteryear film personalities are coming together for the movie.

The movie is directed by S P B Charan (playback singer S P Balasubramanyam's son), while music composer Gangai Amaran's son Venkat Prabhu is directing the flick.

Music composer Deva's nephew Jay plays the hero, while Vijayalakshmi (director Agathiyan's daughter) is the heroine.

Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja (Maestro Ilayaraja's son) and his sister Bhavadharini has sung a couple of songs in the movie.

Says Venkat Prabhu, “We have a big responsibility on our shoulders now. It is our duty to ensure that we live up to the expectations of the audience in the movie.”
