Happy at the good response to his Mandhiran, Hamsavardhan will try and use the momentum to further his career. Speaking about the film, Hamsavardhan says 'it has established me in the industry. The movie with a good screenplay and story line has made it big'.

Directed by his father and veteran actor Ravichandran, Hamsavardhan says, 'after a big gap, I ventured to do Mandhiran. All my hard work has not gone in vain.'

The movie had Misha, who acted in Sevvel, Swathy and Kadhal fame Sukumar in the cast.

Buoyed by the success of Mandhiran, the father-son duo will be back with their next. The movie has been titled Kandeepan. It would be directed and produced by Ravichandran.

Dwelling further, Hamsavardhan says, 'I am getting lots of offers now. But I want to be choosy and do only two movies a year'.
