Official denial of Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' rumours

For the past couple of days rumours have been floating about the postponement of Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' movie from its original schedule on April 27th due to the on going Kollywood strike.  Some reports have gone on to suggest that Lyca Productions has agreed to move the film to a later date and release their other project 'Karu'.

Lyca Productions has officially released a digital statement that reads "Lyca Productions has not conveyed anything to anyone regarding 'Kaala' release date. We are not responsible for any statements arising on release date speculations".
