Superstar Rajnikanth, who was last seen in Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj is next coming with his 167th movie Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss, and the movie produced by Lyca Productions is set to release on January 9 as a Pre-Pongal festival treat for fans.

Yesterday team Darbar had organized a grand pre-release event of the movie in Hyderabad, and Superstar Rajnikanth, Nivetha Thomas, Suniel Shetty, Anirudh and director AR Murugadoss were present in the event. Fans had come in huge numbers to support and cheer for the Superstar.

Speaking during the event, Superstar said that he is questioned by many, on how he's energetic even in the age of 70, and revealed his secret formula for energy. Rajnikanth said that if we control our desires, worries and also have a control over our food, sleep and speech, we'll automatically gain energy.
