Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the entire country has been in a lockdown, and with the number of cases increasing daily, the lockdown has been extended further in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu has been witnessing more than 6000 cases daily, and now Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi Palanisamy has announced extension of
Lockdown in Tamil Nadu till August 31.

Some of the features of this extension include: No Public Transportation, E-Pass mandatory for Inter-District as well as inter-state travel, full lockdown on Sundays, closure of Temples and Malls, closing Restaurants and Shops by 7 PM, 75% employees can work in office premises, Restaurants and Tea Shops to function with 50% dine-in capactiy between 6 AM and 7 PM and Take-away and Delivery to happen between 6 AM and 9 PM.
