Subbulakshmi, who resides in Sabari nagar near Ayyampalayam in Thirupur is popular among netizens as Rowdy Baby Surya, known for her activities and viral videos on Tik tok platform. She had later started using the same name on social media.

When she had been to. Singapore recently, the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown was implemented and she was forced to stay back in the country and recently returned to India in special flights arranged by the government. Rowdy Baby Surya returned to Tirupur on June 16.

However after her return, she was isolated and underwent corona swab test and was in news after she refused to co-operate for the tests. When a private channel telecasted news about her, Rowdy Baby Surya had released a video issuing death threat to the news reporter following which the reporter had filed a police complaint on her. After this incident, Rowdy Baby Surya tried to hang herself and commit suicide in her home but www rescued by her neighbours and has been admitted in hospital.
