Actor Tanish, who played memorable roles as a child artist in films like Manmathudu, lost his father hours ago. Vardhan, his father, reportedly fell down accidentally from the sixth floor of their apartments at Manikonda's Westin Apartment. The family members rushed Vardhan to Apollo hospitals at Jubilee Hills. After battling for some hours, Vardhan breathed his last. Tanish and family are in a state of shock.

Several film personalities, including Tanish's friends in the industry, have expressed their condolence to the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, some sections of the media are speculating that Vardhan might have committed suicide. Rayadurgam police are holding preliminary investigation into the incident.
