As audiences eagerly await the release of Eros International and Colour Yellow Productions' 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns', the industry is already buzzing with anticipation on whether the Aanand L Rai and Kangana Ranaut jodi will recreate the same magic at the box office.

While the director is synonymous with small-town entertainers and desi romances, that audiences across the country relate to - Kangana on the hand is the most versatile actress of her generation, transforming herself with complete ease into the characters she essays onscreen.

The dynamic combination are fast becoming iconic ,with several drawing comparisons between hit director-artist duos like Rajkumar Hirani & Aamir Khan,Rohit Shetty & Ajay Devgn and Farah Khan & Shah Rukh Khan all of whom have created a splash at the box office, every time they have teamed up.

When asked about these comparisons says director Aanand L Rai, " I don't know where the comparisons have stemmed from but they are truly flattering. Kangana as an artist goes all out to transform herself into the director's vision. I don't see any other actress being able to pull off her roles with such ease. Apart from this our love for food and movies have always worked in our favour".

Talking about the equation she shares with Rai says Kangana Ranaut, " Aanand Rai gave me my first family entertainer "Tanu Weds Manu" at a point in my career where I was trapped essaying neurotic characters. He showed tremendous faith in my versatility as an artist. With Tanu Weds Manu Returns , Rai yet again trusted my instincts and has pushed me beyond my limits . I hope we continue creating magic together".

Eros International & Colour Yellow Productions` Tanu Weds Manu Returns , is scheduled to release May 22nd 2015.
