It's known that Nandamuri Taraka Ratna has been admitted to Bengaluru's Narayana Hrudayalaya ever since he suffered a cardiac arrest on Friday at noon. A multi-disciplinary clinical team has been attending to him. Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Vasoactive support were prescribed on Saturday.

On Monday evening, in an official communication, the hospital said that the actor continues to be in a critical state of health. He has been put on ventilatory and other higher support systems.

The hospital also dismissed the rumour that the actor has been put on ECMO support. "His family has been constantly updated about his condition. Any change to his clinical condition will be notified as required," the hospital added.

The members of the Nandamuri family have been watchful. Taraka Ratna's wife has been put up in Bengaluru in the hospital.
