Terrorists attack Kashmir’s Malangpora Air Force Station

Yesterday, Pakistan-sponsored terrorists attacked the Malangpora Air Force Station in the trouble-torn State of Jammu & Kashmir. The situation is said to be under control.

Pakistan’s security forces and terrorists operating from its soil have been very busy for the past few weeks, launching attacks on Indian positions and air/naval bases. A few days back, Sunjuwan Military Station came under attack from Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist outfit. The security forces surrounded the entire locality and engaged the terrorists in a fierce gun-battle in which three terrorists, six security force personnel and a civilian were killed.

On the other day, terrorists attempted to enter the CRPF camp and killed a soldier after which security forces chased the terrorists who got trapped in an abandoned house. Security personnel played the waiting game before killing all the terrorists involved in the attack.

It is in the backdrop of increasing number of attacks that the Malangpora Air Force Station in Jammu & Kashmir came under attack from terrorists who opened fire at the security guards at the Station. No reports of casualty or injury have so far been received. The locality is tense even as security personnel have brought the area under their control.
