We were one of the earliest to break the news in the media that Vijay's next movie 'Thalapathy 64' will be helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of 'Maanagaram' fame who has currently completed 'Kaidhi' with Karthi in the lead role. We now have the information that talks are on with Anirudh to score the music for this exciting film.

If the deal falls through 'Thalapathy 64' will be the second film for the Vijay and Anirudh combo who rocked in 'Kaththi' directed by A.R. Murugadoss giving a super hit album and the theme music still popular among viewers.

Vijay is in the last leg of shooting for his Diwali release 'Thalapathy 63' directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment with Nayanthara as the leading lady. Anirudh is simultaneously working for Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar.
