Actor Vijay who had recently acted in the superhit movie Bigil directed by Atlee, is next acting in his 64th movie which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by XB Film Creators. This movie which began shooting before few months has completed several schedules.

After starting shooting in Chennai, the team completed another schedule in Delhi, and now the shooting is happening in Shivamogga, Karnataka. After initial college sequences, now the team is planning to shoot jail sequences with Vijay Sethupathi, who had recently joined the shoot.

As the actor has entered the sets of Thalapathy 64 in Shivamogga, fans gave him a grand welcome and surrounded him. Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi as he is fondly called, yet again proved his closeness with fans, as he celebrated the birthday of a fan at the sets much to the delight of the fan, and this video has turned viral.
