Anniyan is keeping the entire Tamil film industry engrossed.

With Anniyan being the biggest release of the season, there is a huge excitement among the fans and a sense of anticipation among the Kollywood mandarins.

Shankar's ability to keep things under wraps has heightened the suspense over the film.

Believed to be one of the costliest films ever made in Tamil, Anniyan has the set the tongues about Vikram's role.

Vikram, if one were to by the promos, appears in three different get-ups, and each one is interesting and intriguing.

What most people say is that the story of the film is about the crusade of a simple man against the corruption in our body politic.

Like in previous Shankar films, there is no dearth of razzmatazz and spunk in Anniyan, too.

The music of Harris Jeyaraj is already rocking the town. The Rendakka song and the Aiyangar Veetu song are the season's toppers.

For Vikram, after the award-winning Pithamagan, this is another labor of love. He assiduously prepared himself for the role (grew his hair long, had a French beard) and has done just about every thing that a director would have wanted from his hero.

So he is as much excited as the rest of Tamil Nadu in anticipation of the movie.
