Dhanush was in Hyderabad to promote 'VIP-2', but least did he expect that he would have to walk out of an interview in a huff. In an interview to a popular TV channel, the star was miffed with some personal questions thrown at him.

It started off just well. When asked to comment about Hyderabad's drug scandal involving certain Tollywood personalities, Dhanush was very diplomatic. "I am not aware of what is happening. Everybody is asking me about this, but I don't know anything. I have to figure out. I can't comment without full knowledge. It might offend somebody. My world is cinema. I know only about that. Writing, music, acting, making movies - this is my world. I keep my brain protected from all the other stuff. My General Knowledge is zero. If you were to ask me what is the capital of a State, I wouldn't know," Dhanush replied.

It was when the interviewer asked about the SuchiLeaks controversy that Dhanush ran out of patience.

When the host said that many perceive the actor to have undergone mental agony due to the leaks, Dhanush shot back, saying, "Who said I went through mental agony? I thought we are here to talk about 'VIP-2'. What is my personal life is mine. I am not answerable about my personal life at all. What you do in your personal life is not my concern," he made it clear.

When the host said that he was facing allegations regarding a video, Dhanush was done. "What allegations? Was there a video? My family life is at stake? This is a very stupid interview," he said, standing up and removing the mic.

Dhanush was later convinced to continue to the interview. The rest of the interview was only about 'VIP-2'..
