One S Siva Kumar (25) has died in a never-heard-before manner. An employee at an automobile showroom in Tiruchanoor near Tirupathi, the youngster was drunk on Monday night when he felt like playing a prank on his friends.

He made a WhatsApp video call to his friends on his mobile. He told them he would be enacting his suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan. The friends thought that Siva Kumar was merely playing a prank. But when he kicked off the stool on which he was standing, the friends on the other side got nervous.

They asked him to stop taking the prank to the extreme. With no favourable response from him, they called up the victim's parents. By the time the parents could barge into the room, the youngster was already dead.

His dead body has been sent for autopsy.
