Language is no barrier says director Shafi Macartin, who is busy wielding the megaphone for Vikram starrer Maja.

This popular Malayalam director who directed the original Thommanum Makalum starring Mammooty, says, 'I write the entire script in Malayalam. I understand things well before shooting them. Then they are translated to the artistes. With a cooperative artiste like Vikram with me, I am not worried'.

Vikram had started his career acting in Malayalam while Asin is from the God's Own Country.

Maja is set for Deepavali release.
