Trailer Review: Ammammagarillu

A grandma whose only spiritual aim in life is to spend happy time with kith and kin. A near-perfect (?) grandson who reaches out to such a grandma with the goodness and tact of a Venkatesh in 'Raja', a Sharwanand in 'Shatamanam Bhavati'. The Trailer of 'Ammammagarillu' conveys this much and more.

Posani Krishna Murali as the bad guy who creates problems for Ammamma's 'khandan' right at the moment. Our hero is destined to face such villains and solve them with surgical precision.

Rao Ramesh as that obstinate relative who nurses old wounds is seen. Above all, that 'maradalu' (Shamili) who loves the ideal unifier so that the film's caption ('Relations never end') is best served!

Naga Shaurya as the male lead mouths the right sentimental dialogues. His scenes with Rao Ramesh should work very well. This Sundar Surya-directed movie also presents those Shakalaka Shankars of the world to play to the gallery and elevate heroism.

Suman, Shivaji Raja, Sumitra and Sudha are part of the cast. Produced by Rajesh on Swajith Movies, Kalyana Ramana is its music director. Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry and Bhaskarabhatla are penning the lyrics. Rasool Ellore is the cinematographer. JP is the editor.

The film releases on May 25.
