Trailer Review: Sammohanam

Is 'Sammohanam' by far the most intense love story ever directed by Mohankrishna Indraganti? That's what we were tempted to ask as we repeatedly watched its Trailer, released today on the occasion of Superstar Krishna's birthday.

Sudheer Babu, as the male lead, thinks so low of entertainers. By a quirk of fate, he falls in love with an actress (the subliminally expressive Aditi Rao Hydari as film heroine Sameera). Due to some conflict, which will be interesting to watch on June 15, he is disillusioned with her. Emotional catastrophe follows.

When she says 'Premisthanu', Aditi looks like a dream. It seems it's a sine qua non for Indraganti to succeed in projecting the love story between the lead pair as an out-of-the-world affair.

When Sudheer says 'Kadani champa pagalagotti maree gurthu chesav', you see a performer in him.

Nandu (as the hero of 'Kummestha', of all the things in the world) plays a key role. Naresh (as Sudheer's funny father) has his obsessions. Rahul Ramakrishna, with his quirks, should reflect the views of the average audience about filmwallahs. Once again, the likes of Tanikella Bharani and Hari Teja are expected to dish out fun.

Music is by Vivek Sagar. The cinematography is by PG Vinda. Editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh. Lyrics are by Sirivennela Seetaramasastry and Ramajogayya Sastry.
