It's known that Jayathi, a popularTV show host, has turned an actress-producer recently. Her film Lacchi, a thriller-horror comedy set in rural backdrop, is currently in post-production stage.
"I wanted to do a remake of the Malayalam film My Boss. But meanwhile, my director Eeshwar came up with this story. I had no intention to play the female lead, but this character arrested me. We have shot for the film in Tirumala. If the audience accept me as a heroine, I will continue to play lead roles. If not, I will stick to production," Jayathi says.
The first look will be out next week.
