Actor Udhayanidhi Stalin was last seen on screen in the Seenu Ramasamy directorial Kanne Kalaimaane co-starring Tamannaah, and the movie received good reviews for his performance. Currently the actor is shooting for Mu Maran's Kannai Nambathey, co-starring Aathmika.

Udhayanidhi Stalin has also completed Mysskin's Psycho, also starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Nithya Menen, and is next set to join hands with Thadaiyara Thaakka, Maeghamann and Thadam director Magizh Thirumeni for a thriller, which will be produced by Red Giant Movies.

It has been speculated that, Megha Akash who has paired with Dhanush and Simbu in Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta and Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven, besides also starring in Superstar Rajnikanth's Petta might play the female lead opposite Udhayanidhi. An official announcement is expected soon.
