It`s been a few months since Kamal Haasan forced to stop work on his Sabaash Naidu` due to the sudden fall he had and the ensuing surgery. He has now recovered fully and is expected to restart the film soon while there are also efforts to release Vishwaroopam 2` in the New year.

Now we hear from reliable sources that Kamal has given call sheet to the prestigious AVM banner for a new film that will begin soon to be directed by Mouli who has given the super hit Pammal K Sammandham`. It may be recalled that the legendary AVM Productions is one of the oldest banners in Indian cinema and introduced Kamal Haasan as a child artiste in Kalathur Kannamma. Sources also reveal that the full length comedy film is titled Meyyappan` as a tribute to the AVM founder A.V. Meyappa Chettiar. Official confirmation is expected sooner rather than later.
